SUNDAY MUSINGS

Do I love you? My gosh, if your
love were a grain of sand, mine
would be a universe of beaches.

The odometer of life just keeps on whirring faster and faster the older I become. And last weekend, the odometer on the truck spun once more as we took a QUICK trip up north for a grandbaby blessing. (all loved ones that we didnt see...please dont get your knickers in a twist...we were literally there for less than 24 hours!!!)
We said some hellos, caught up on the latest nephew and niece gossip, went to church and shed some tears as we listened to our Joe give a most touching, emotional blessing on the head of our 4th grandchild, dear Liam.
Whats better than having grown-up sons doing grown-up things with such devotion and sweetness??!! I say there is nothing better!!!

I have asked Joe if I could share with you a few of the things that he felt inspired to bless Liam with.

First off he spoke of Liams mother...dear Natalie...and counseled him to make her #1 in his life. (for mothers do know best...and dont you deny it!!!)

Joe spoke of Liams special spirit that was reserved to come down to this world at this time. He is here for experience and more importantly that he, Liam, has a special duty and that he will need to find what that duty is and do it!!

Joe blessed him to have a close relationship with his Heavenly Father, through prayer and scripture study, and in so doing he'd gain his own testimony of the Gospel.

Liam was blessed that he would desire to serve a mission and to be married in the Temple to a dear lady and to have an eternal family of his own.

And interspersed throughout the whole blessing were sentiments of gratitude and excitement to see Liam grow in life and in the Gospel.

Congratulations Liam and Joe and Natalie and Logan!!!
From here on out you too will enjoy watching the odometer of life picking up speed!!!
