Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon
If a woman had written Genesis,
"no time for oneself" would have
been mentioned right next to
"on sorrow thou shalt bring forth children."

It's a rare women who doesnt cherish 'time for ones self.' But my mom is a rare gem indeed!!! Mom is NEVER happier than when she is out serving and helping and "pitching in" in any manner she may!! "Down time" is a four letter word for her!!! Busy hands, busy minds equals peace and happiness for mom!
Today is her birthday; and though her greatest wish is to NOT have any more birthdays....birthday should be celebrated and not ignored!!!
So we will celebrate!!!
For I love her dearly, and feel such gratitude that she and dad live practically in our own back yard. What a blessing this is to me and to my family.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE KINDEST, MOST GENEROUS SOUL I KNOW!!!
LOVE YOU MOM!!!

Happy Birthday Sister Sharp! (Can't quite lose that title...)

Fond memories include: wonderful meals at your house in Los Altos, including my first experience with homemade mayonnaise; sleep-overs and hot-tubbing in your beautiful back yard; learning a love for PBS at your house as that was all the TV that was ever on; and most importantly my own private nurse when I had surgery at age 17!

You have always been a great example to me of generosity and service. From you I learned that life's pleasures are made from simple and ordinary things. My best wishes for a very happy birthday and many more to come!
Love - Judy

Happy Birthday, Pauline, and I agree with all the above. You'd do anything for anyone, a great example of selflessness!
