I found this woman's post about this book/movie very entertaining!! I hope to stand firm in my desire to NOT go see this as a movie. The book was so entertaining. My mind does such a better job of creating Edward and Bella and their surroundings; that Im quite sure I have no desire to see how Hollywood does it. I have a LOT of family that have read these books as well. Our books were passed around, from one end of the state to the other. Many of them are anxiously awaiting the release of this flick! I cant wait to hear what they think of it!!

I think i might rent it after it comes out on dvd. I think Stephanie Meyers should have picked ALL the characters!
i have to see it. it's like seeing every version of P&P ever made, or Jane Eyre. don't hate me. just know that i know the book will be better. it always is, and it always will be. however, i'm opening my mind to the simple entertainment of one person's interp.
who knows, maybe in ten years, someone else will make it again, only better?
I know what you mean about our minds being able to imagine things JUST the way we want it and its tough to let someone else maybe ruin it for us. That's one reason I don't do book groups - I don't want someone else telling me I'm wrong in my interpretation of something!
I flew through this book of course and have the second but need to wait until it is not so busy because I know I will drop everything else like you said. I am not quite sure how I feel about the movie because the book is still so fresh for me and let's face it a movie is never better than the book :)
