I LOVE watching the Olympics on tv. I've been doing it for a long time now. I watched with my family as a kid. And now I've continued the tradition with my own family. The tv will be on quite a bit, and the DVR will be well used too!! I really do dig watching the excellence of all the athletes who compete.
I remember Mark Spitz-he was so handsome, and he swam with a moustache no less! Not with these new stream-lined space suits. I remember all those gold medals hanging from his neck, over his well formed chest. It seems like he was the first to take so many golds in one Olympics??

I remember watching Nadia Comaneci and Olga Corbet and MaryLou Renton. I'd have to say that watching gymnastics is probably what I enjoy the most of all the sports...
But watching Track and Field events is always inspiring too... There was JoYner and Jenner
Then there's the diving...wow!!! Do you remember when Greg Louganis hit his head on the edge of the platform??!! OUCH!!! (the human form is a glorious thing to behold,dont ya think!!?)I CANT WAIT FOR 08-08-08!!!!
