Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon

Remember This Face!!!?

ITs Elder Seeley!!!
¡Como Estai? That's slang for like, what's up? in Chile. It was way cool to be able to hear from you all over the phone this last week. It really helped me charge up the batteries so to speak. I'm very grateful to Heavenly Father for everything He's blessed me with this past few weeks. I've been incredibly blessed. Throughout my mission.
So. . . I have a new companion!!! I'm sending a picture of him in one of the photos. His name is Elder Flores. He's SUCH A COOL GUY!!!
He's from the Honduras in Central America. And . . . He's soo cool. President Swenson really hooked me up on this one, because we've got a long awesome already.

Pure'n is really beautiful. The scenery is really pretty. Lots of trees. I'm not sure on the elevation. Like I was telling Dad on the phone. I'm kinda  bad at that sort of thing. But. . . I know that we are out in the middle of nowhere. And YES I'm pretty sure I'm the only gringo here in Pure'n. There could be others, but I have not heard of them. I havn't met anyone who speaks [English] either. Very different from San Pedro, where the bishop spoke with us in fluent English. Well.  . . That bishop is now living in the United States, but yeah. I've been talking it over with my companion, Elder Flores, and we're actually going to be starting an English class in Pure'n. We're going to call Pres. Swenson tonight and ask for permission. Wish me luck! Pray for me! I need your faith!
The mission rocks! President Swenson wrote me a message that was incredibly perfect. The mission rocks! The Church is true! Heavenly Father lives and loves us. Jesus Christ suffered for all of us. Repentance is real. I love that. I love how through the gospel we can get better every day. We don't have to be perfect. But we CAN get better every day. Digo estes cosas en el nombre de Jesucristo. Amen.
Love, Elder Seeley
