Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon

I would feel more optimistic about a bright future
for man if he spent less time proving that he can
outwit Nature and more time tasting her
sweetness and respecting her seniority.

Members of our ward were notified by email that our Mayor called a state of emergency down here!! And that volunteers were needed to come out and fill sandbags. So I ripped myself and Clark away from our computers and we put on our grubbies and headed out.

We made a stop at our bridge first...just a block away from us, to take a look and to take some pictures.

impressive eh!!!?

We were then told that they were turning people away at the sand-bagging location...because so many people had already showed up to help!! What a marvelous dilemma!! They asked us to report back in the morning if we'd like.

When this is all over, I'll have to take a picture of what the Virgin River looks like normally!! It resembles NOTHING like this, that's for sure. Usually your lucky to get wet ankles .

yes indeedie...these are my grubbies!!!

Wow! Yes, I just talked to Chelsea and she was amazed at the people looking and taking pictures. Hope all those new bridges hold up and do what they're supposed to... Hang on!
