At the risk of over-stating the obvious....
we have had a lot of wonderful company of late. Dear guests, young and old. Most of these choice people have taken notice of the short, silent guy who lives out back under the mulberry trees. We have heard from many of them that they believe Doobie has grown some since the last time they've seen him. I wasnt convinced. I see him every day. And I havent taken the time to pull out the tape measure to find proof positive.
Then a few days ago, Bri and I did just that. Brian measured him from his epiplastron to his xiphiplastron, and it turns out that Doobie grew a whole inch!!! That a lot of turtle advancement for only 365 days, give or take a few days.
