My birthday present from Brian was for him to get up extra early (6:30am) and go hiking with us!! It was a sacrifice. I know he considered not getting up. He laid there like a lump, for longer than necessary and admitted later that it was the guilt that tweaked him right up and into his hiking shorts and shoes.
Im just grateful that he came.
The mosquitoes were grateful too!! He feels like they sucked him dry.


I find it remarkable that we are still discovering new hikes. This morning we went and hiked the Spring Creek slot. It was magnificent. And it was cool... as in temps!!
