Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon
Bruno had read enough books about explorers to know
that one could never be sure what one was going to find.
Most of the time they came across something interesting
that was just sitting there, minding its own business,
waiting to be discovered (such as America). Other times
they discovered something that was probably best left alone...

Today is my dads birthday.
You should know that ever since I was a little girl I always believed that my dad was an explorer....or a spy....or both!! Dad was often away on what seemed to be exciting adventures. He came home with the most amazing stories. Even now he still has amazing stories that are new to me and which I have never heard...they bubble to the top of conversation whenever he is here. His life enriched our lives. We are always being enriched by him. We loved learning at his feet...not his feet really, but at our dinner table most nights. We loved meeting all the interesting people that he brought home for dinner...people from all over the world, with all kinds of life experiences. Our dinner table was the place to be on many a night.
Thank you dad...for all you have done, all that you do...and for your wonderful example in my life and now in the lives of your posterity. We all love and adore you and are so grateful that you have influenced our lives in such great ways.
I love you dad!!!

Happy Birthday!!!!
