There is no frigate like a book
To take us Lands away
Nor any coursers like a page
of prancing poetry
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll
How frugal is the Chariot
That bears the human soul.

Great Mothers Day book ideas!!!
amazon review:
The story begins by telling the child "long, long ago God made a decision...a very important decision...one that I'm really glad He made. He made the decision to make you."
The story truly expresses what we as parents all want our children to know: they are very special, unique and have our hearts wrapped around their fingers since birth and this will never change.
randomhouse review:
A cozy fiction about comfortably quirky people in a bucolic setting, but it quickly evinces far more serious, and ambitious, intent.
Review from Goodreads:
A collection of letters written by a former Knox poetry professor to her former student who is pregnant, the book is the most heartfelt and honest expression of motherhood that I have ever read.
Marking the debut of a powerfully original Southern voice, a poignant memoir of life on the wrong side of the tracks, with a colorful cast of misfits, plenty of belly laughs, and lessons for finding joy in spite of hardship.-Gotham Books
Winner of six national awards, A Little Something is about love and legacies across generations. One reviewer describes the story as having "the emotion of Love You Forever and the charm of a Norman Rockwell painting."
Who cant remember reading this book when we were little!!?
This book is the perfect book to introduce little ones to the joys of reading. The words are few and small, and the question is one of interest to little ones who are still trying to sort out what is going on in this new-to-them world.
this anthology of personal essays and poetry begins on the first notes of middle childhood and concludes with the finale of high school graduation. Its pages explore a wide variety of turning points that come in the outward motion of family life and the inward dynamics of personal growth. To be sure, the dance of motherhood is often more of a stumble. But with candor, insight, and the bittersweet inspiration Segullah writers are known for, these thirty contributing authors convincingly show that even the clumsiest of dancers have moments of grace.

Love all your book choices...
Oh how I LOVED The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. That is one of the best books I've ever read. I loved the characters, laughed and cried throughout the book, and came away wanting to be a better person. Those are the makings of a great book, in my opinion. Happy reading and I'll let you know if I come across anything wonderful in my book quests.
