Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon
Behold, great and marvelous are the works
of the Lord. How unsearchable are the
depths of the mysteries of him; an it is
impossible that man should find out all
His ways save it be revealed unto him;
wherefore, despise not the revelations of God.

Yesterday was a bad day.
Yesterday I was convinced that an evil hacker from hell had somehow corrupted my blogger account and that I was going to have to face the reality of life with out my blog. I cried, I swore, I prayed and prayed some more. I plead for assistance from my Builder to 'go after' Blogger and make something happen. And he tried....oh how he gave it a valiant effort to solve the mystery and tragedy.
But once again Im here to emphatically declare that prayers are answered and miracles do happen. Tonight....out of the blue...I attempted once again to sign in to my blog....for I so badly wanted to wish my dear brother in law Mark, a very happy birthday...so that he wouldnt think that forgot or that I was neglecting him. and VOILA'!!!! I was 'in' with no explanation or fanfare....but 'in' never-the-less!! WHEW!!!
Im not sure what it says about me....that having no access to my blog caused a spiral downward that Im not proud of...but there is my confession.
And since Im speaking of miracles....may I just say that today felt like a day full of miracles. I am so very sad that I have not been able to share with you the sights and sounds and smells of our spring time desert this week. This week and next is prime time for our desert. The wildflowers are MAGNIFICENT!!! I long to share pictures....alas...no camera. I wish you could have smelled the desert this morning as we hiked in a light shower and after it had rained all night. Each and every desert plants sends out its essence into the air after it receives a shower from heaven. There is no better smell. Not even bread baking in the oven is better than this smell. I tell you, there's a miracle at every bend in the trail.
Next miracle...finding a wedding dress on the sale rack...AFTER having tried on a dozen or more dresses of every style and price range on the other racks....we discovered that its the sale dress that brought the smile that I had been waiting to see all these weeks of thinking and doing nothing but dresses!!! Its a miracle I tell you...a miracle!!!!
Next miracle....I've not made this blog a 'wedding blog' even though vision has tunneled down to nothing much more than wedding and hiking. But...this miracle may have reached its climax...for I feel a need to vent and ask questions and opinions....we'll see how it goes.

Life is so good. I am so blessed, as is my family. For this I will be eternally and everlastingly grateful.

And oh yes.....

Mark,
We love you so much! I wish you a very, very happy birthday. You are the 'cool' uncle and the one that we all want to hang out with....and yet we dont do it enough!!! I hope your day was a good one and that you know you are always in our hearts and minds...even if we dont show up often enough to say what we feel.
