The big day has finally arrived!
He spoke in church and did a fabulous job I might add; has packed his 4 bags (which had to speedily trimmed down to 2!!) and is heading out of here. He might be wondering if he's headed to rougher times than the ones he's spent here with us....???? (time will tell) My personal guess...he most definitely is!!! Chile will appreciate his service now!!!
We will miss him here as we shared our roof.
We will miss his drama, his wisdom, his shuffle down the hall, and his friendship.

He's been enjoying counting down his "lasts" of late-
His last home cooked meal.
His last visit with grandma.
His last hugs from mom and dad and siblings.
His last movie in a theater.
His last time in his own bed.
His last opportunity trying his hand at Xbox games.
His last long board slide.

And so many more' lasts' to come!

What a head trip it is for these fine young men who sacrifice 2 years of their lives for the Lord...to step out of their comfort zones and give their all to do something so 'foreign' for teenage boys to do.

We love Justus, and look forward to sharing his experiences and adventures in Chile.
