I have a short list of grievances to share with you today...(in comparison to what would prove to be a LONG list of blessings!)

Today is about the grievances.
Im giving myself permission to vent.
You may want to look away if you feel the honestly might scar.
Come back in a few days. Things will be better.

But today there is a list.

First:
(i'll admit right up front that probably the whole reason for the list stems from grievance #1... it's the root of all evil....)
Paying guest have returned to the Spa - guests that love to hike. The weather has cooperated big time, and I found that I couldnt hike!!! Due to those D#"*'!+" technical difficulties of the not so distant past. Due to growing old!! AUGH!!!! Most of the last week has been spent at home cooped up indoors, while glorious hiking went on without me!!!! The root of all trouble began here!!!

Anna has been out of cell phone range for most of the week as well. Its a foreshadow of things to come.

My best friend and Builder has nothing to build.

My other best friend is getting married in a few short months and I already miss her. Plus I worry, yes worry, about failing her as wedding planner/ activities director/detail coordinator. Its all a bit overwhelming.

D'*:#!% broken rib really hurts!! (remember the "pop" Rob!?)
(and dont anyone dare give me the lecture on the ills of soda and caffeine!!! He squooze REALLY HARD!!!)

I miss having a camera with me at all times. Its spring in Southern Utah darn it!!! And grandkids are growing as fast as the green grass around here now!!!

Brian is fixated on a red circle on the calender, which haunts July!!! As well he should be!!! I see nothing but dust bunnies, cobwebs and crickets accumulating around here after he's gone. (and NO we dont own real-estate in Chile!!!)

FamilySearch dot org has changed its format- again!!! Why cant 'they' leave well enough alone.
Dont they know how hard it is to teach old dogs new tricks??

I have learned that the Federal Government prohibits me from helping my son to further his higher education goals. It makes no difference to the powers that be that said son lives out of the country!!! And that said good son would prefer not to deal with such distractions right now.

Politics and Heathcare Reform are kill'in me and the country!!

So....
there you have my very short list.
The last few days have been about being depressed.
But it wont last.
It never does.
I have daffodils in my yard!!!!
