"What’s interesting is that you were talking about the Olympics just now. We have this way of winning things; all the events that the English won were sitting down. Have you noticed that? Rowing, cycling, sailing - they’re all things that involve the art of sitting down. When I did the Tom Ford film, Ford gently suggested it would be okay if decided to get in shape. And the first thing I went to buy, it was funny. I went into this sports shop, and all these weights looked far too heavy. So, I bought a mat. Quite an expensive one. ‘Look - this is for exercise, isn’t it?’ I took it to my room and laid down on it to do some sit-ups, and I woke up two hours later."
