She loved the big proud bodies of the
women in the choir, and how they
could swing and how planted on the
earth they seemed, with no apology
for taking up so much space. It was
as if they assumed they were
beautiful, and only needed to decide
what color to dress the beauty in.

People may be wondering why this odd quote goes with Lindsay?? Are ya wondering?
I think Lindsay may have been the first teenage girl that I had had the pleasure of knowing, all those years ago, that seemed completely and perfectly comfortable in her own skin. And thats saying something, when talking about adolescent girls!!
Over the years...she has only gotten more lovely and more beautiful and more confident, and I feel I owe her a debt of gratitude for being the powerful example that she is to so many of us in this grand and wonderful family of ours!!
Happy, Happy Birthday Lindsay!!
Love you tons!!
(oh ya...by the way...dont ya think its been long enough since we've had the pleasure of seeing you and your little family?...cant we do something about this??!!)

Oh Cindy, I'm embarrassed, you are too sweet.Talk about example! That is exactly what you are to all of us who adore you. I miss you and your family so much! We're trying to figure out a way to come and visit...maybe this summer?? Thank you for remembering me on my birthday. You really are so special.
