Contemplating 50

For some reason I've been thinking about being 50, and what that means, and what that DOESN'T mean!!!
Donny and Marie have been in the news.
They're 50!
And beloved MJ is always in the news...especially in death.
I doubted MJ.
I never should have.
I wondered how a 50 yr old could pull off a World Tour.
The movie made it very clear that he could have and would have.
It would have been a concert to behold. A marvel to witness!!!
MJ came to this world with an extreme gift.
Truly gifted people are notoriously eccentric. MJ was weird, to be sure.
But for him, it was about the love. It was all about love and passion for the gifts he had been given.
And even at 50 he wanted nothing more than to share what he had with the world.
He surrounded himself with the greatest of talents as well. Man oh man could that little blond girl play the guitar!!! Man oh man could his dancers dance. Crazy, amazing stuff was coming together on that stage.
So....maybe 50 really is the new 30!!!
I think it may be so!!!
Who else do we know that's in their 50's and is still leaving their mark on the world?

I know that this 50 yr old would kill for that woman's 'guns'.
50 aint at all bad.
I am grateful everyday for the air I breath and that I can remain upright, and enjoy most of what life has to offer.
