"We can ask for comfort and hope and patience
and courage...and we'll git what we ast for.
They ain't no gar'ntee that we ain't go'n
have no troubles and ain't go'n to die. But
shore as frogs croak and cows bellow, God'll
forgive us if'n we ast Him to."

We had a wonderful visit with our Elder Clark on Christmas Day!
Nothing like hearing the voice of a loved one after many long months of hearing nothing but "you got mail" on Monday mornings. Email is wonderful, but hearing his laugh and his distinct spanish accent through the telephone lines is so much better!!
He was sicker than a dog...with a nasty cold....which we learned today, through email, that it was serious enough to get him to the doctors and become medicated...but so, so happy to be serving the people in Chile!!
Yep...I guess I can happily wait until Mothers Day before I hear his voice again!!
It was a wonderful Christmas gift...to hear the joy and satisfaction in his heart.

I love goof balls! Check out our Nativity photo and you see one of my favorites. Clark looks and sounds so good. It's hard to believe he'll be home this summer. Let's take Lindsay, Rob and spouses and go get him!!
Pretty fun to see Elder Barnwell in the same picture with Elder Stephenson seeing how they are second cousins. I hear they sang together at Christmas too - so fun.
А! والديناميت في اليوم يا صديقي!
Simple and sweet. I’m thinking of starting another blog or five pretty soon, and I’ll definitely consider this theme. Keep ‘em coming!.
