Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon
Basically, the only thing we need is a
hand that rest on our own, that wishes
us well, that sometimes guides us.

SEVERAL FACTORS CAME TOGETHER PERFECTLY ON THURSDAY.
1. A perfectly blue, cloudless, warming December sky

2. The promise of a new trail--one I have never hiked before.
3. My best hiking buddy is in town.
4. Time--even though a Christmas party looms forbiddingly near.
5. The next best hiking buddy--who essentially wiggles from her hairy hide with excitement over a ride in the back of the truck to destinations of rock, rabbits, shadows and ridges to climb!! (just like her owner!)
All these factors combine
RESULTING IN....
3 Glorious hours spent doing one of my most favorite things to do....
Gathering Coral Dust Between My Toes!!!!
Ahhhh...yes life is GOOD!!!
