There is a slight hint of fall in the air lately.
But I plan on living in a happy state of denial for a long as possible.
So I made of list.
A list of a few more things I love about summer.
Feel free to join me in creating any sort of cosmic appeal in hopes of slowing down the onslaught of winter.
Here it goes.
1. the smell of suntan lotion
2. listening to frogs ribbit
3. sleeping with the windows open (when its not too hot)
4. peaches and vanilla ice cream
5. farmers markets
6. apricots
7. its NOT winter!!
8. bare toes at all times
9. bare legs
10. long days full of warmth and sunshine
11. thunder and lightening storms
12. road trips with the windows down
13. 'L' slurp'in on otter pops

I don't like being cold, but I'm definitely ready for cooler weather here. The heat and humidity is starting to get old. Plus, we're going to have some amazing fall colors because we had such a nice, rainy year. I can't wait to see them!! I hope for your sake though that summer continues a while longer in beautiful St. G.
