Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon
"And how are you?" said Winnie the Pooh.
Eeyore shook his head from side to side.
"Not very how," he said. "I dont seem to
have felt at all how for a long time."
"Dear, dear," said Pooh, "Im sorry about
that. Lets have a look at you."

I realize Im a freak of nature.
I realize Im outspoken and 'gifted' in my ability to gauge temperature shifts, especially when the shift is heading downward!!
I realize that Im hypersensitive.
And I realize that denial only works for so long.
The signs are rack'in up against me!!!
Hiking with my jacket on this morning isnt a good sign!!!
Hearing the wind whisper through the pinon pines in an achingly lonesome tone isnt a good sign!!
Seeing the Christmas decorations out in the isles of dept. stores isnt a good sign!!
Watching our grass start thinking about going dormant isnt a good sign!!!
Football on tv and at the local high schools isnt a good sign!!
But the last straw came last night. The thing that broke this ole warm-blooded camels' back.....???
Spotting the definitive V formation of a dozen or more Canada geese winging their way south!!!
How dare they leave!!!
How dare they give up on summer!!!
I realize winter is just around the corner.
DRAT!!!!

My sympathies!! I feel exactly the same way in the spring! I was thinking that maybe if you didn't have that fabulous job and were snug in bed until it warms up a little and then had breakfast in fuzzy slippers and a fluffy robe, you wouldn't dread it so much. I guess nowhere's perfect all year round. Let's all be snowbirds/sunbirds someday!
