So Brian headed out this morning, with my folks to the wilds of Alaska!!! Man was he excited!! (man oh man am I jealous!) Their destination is Juneau, where they'll get on a fancy cruise liner tomorrow and cruise the inlets and bays of that rugged, glorious country.
There are a few things I know Brain is looking forward to doing while he visits-
food, food and more food. Cooler, possibly downright cold weather. Taking lots of pictures. He took his sketchbooks too...inspiration for great art!!! Whale watching. Hopefully some fishing. Maybe a helicopter ride over a glacier? One on one time with the ever generous grandparents. Possibly some job hunting for the future?
Any way you look at it...HES GOING TO HAVE A MARVELOUS, MEMORABLE TIME!!
I guess we''ll see him in 10 days!!!

And if you'll allow me to digress a little....
On the way back from Vegas this morning, we stopped at the incredibly busy MickeyD's in Mesquite, and grabbed a bit of breakfast. I just have to say that the 'master chiefs' in the back kitchens at headquarters are genius!!! I had my first taste of a McGriddle Sausage sandwich(I dont do eggs)...and it was divine!! yes sir reee....Divine!!! (Sssshhh....Dont tell Anna and have her ruin it for me. I dont want to know whats in it!!! ) GENIUS I say!!!
