Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon

Discussion Anyone!?

WOW!!!
How does that captivating music video leave you feeling?
What do YOU think it was all about??? Any impressions you'd like to share??
Please ring in on this one with me OK?

The Dixie Chicks are mega-talented ladies!! Who would dare to discount this?!? Even though I still find great fault in their political sentiments, I cant ignore their talent. But I confess that I still cant bring myself to "support" them by spending a dime buying their music. I can still listen and admire greatly cant I??!!!

Wow is right...okay, here's my 2-cents:
All the adults in our lives were once children, and how they were accepted or rejected or loved or hated has influenced the person they have become. We may only see that outer shell they show the world; we may never know the broken heart inside that colors the way they live. Doesn't it make you want to take every child you see in your arms and tell them they are brilliant and wonderful and of divine worth? Yet, even as I think that, I wonder when I last told the "children" in my life how GREAT they are...That's one of the lessons we came here for, isn't it? Thanks for sharing, Cindy.

Lisa, I think you're right on!! I also think its interesting that I found myself not paying attention to the lyrics as much as was just 'watching' the story unfold. THe visuals are so powerful...even without the music. Thanks so much for sharing. Your the best!!!

I'm so annoyed by their political idiocy...they were my favorite Country group for a long time and it's harder to like them now. ARRRR. (PS-sorry I can't join the discussion, the vid is blocked on my computer for some reason.)
