Goodness, I was so far behind that when I had finally scrolled down far enough to finish all the lovely posts I'd missed that I had to hit the "home" button to be more economical about getting back to the top.
Anyway, loved the pictures, thoughts, and insights. And love you guys!
PS Brian's a doll....oh, and how could I forget, Olivia's taken with him!!! And I'm not kidding when I say that's quite the feat. She's very anti-men unless it's her Daddy. But we'll often catch her sitting on Brian's lap playing while he's watching TV (he's such a good sport for at times she'll be stinky and he doesn't say a word!). Tonight I wasn't up to chasing her down to change her for bed....so I copped out and sent your glorious son after her escaping little body. Not only did he bring her back right away, he brought her back giggling...where she would have been kicking and screaming for me! ;)
Sidenotes: Brian is obviously so helpful with the kids when the need arises...he doesn't seem to mind our quirks as a family...he's a hard worker...he immediately chips in at night when I start cleaning the house with the kids before bed...he eats all the food I shove at him...and he is soooo not demanding, which worries me a little in that like I said before, I hope we aren't boring him to death.
Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
said Christopher Robin to Pooh. by A.A. Milne
I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing. ~Agatha Christie~
For nothing is fixed, forever and forever and forever, it is not fixed; the earth is always shifting, the light is always changing, the sea does not cease to grind down rock. Generations do not cease to be born, and we are responsible to them because we are the only witnesses they have. The sea rises, the light fails, lovers cling to each other, and children cling to us. The moment we cease to hold each other, the moment we break faith with one another, the sea engulfs us and the light goes out. ~James Baldwin~

The greatest adventure is what lies ahead. Today and tomorrow are yet to be said. The chances, the changes are all yours to make. The mold of your life is in your hands to break.

Adventure is a path. Real adventure -self-determined,
self-motivated, often risky-forces you to have firsthand
encounters with the world. The world is the way it is,
not the way you imagine it.
