"Laziness in doing stupid things
can be a great virtue."
can be a great virtue."
resumed the whisper.

There really is nothing like a good road trip for me to become reflective of my life, and my goings on. Add an event like Women's Conference and a session at the Temple, and conclude it all with a visit to my college stomping grounds and I become a veritable sage!!
Women's Conference with all its estrogen, and service projects and words of encouragement, plus the fabulous food....Never, never disappoints!!! When asked what my favorite part of the conference would be, I find it tough to answer. It must have something to do with there being 20,000 women, all of our faith, singing hymns, and having the Spirit witness to me over and over again that Im a child of a loving Heavenly Father and a women of worth. To feel that my Savior truly is aware of me. Hang'in with my daughter and dear friends, spending a complete day in service, and eating the most amazing, delectable Italian food this side of the Rockies!!! How do I pick just one thing???
Then there's some icing added to the cake. Being in the Temple with my nephew, who was attending for his very first time! To be within those sacred walls with loved ones- such a blessing!
The cherry on top.....
Logan, Utah in the spring!!! oh my!!! I'd forgotten how green and lush and blooming Cashe Valley can be. Its really not all about the winters in Logan!! Sweet daughter and I went up there expecting a difficult time choosing a place for her to live as she attends USU. Things dont have to be hard!! Really they dont! We looked and looked and called and called and didnt stop until she found a place that made her happy and planted a smile on her beautiful face from ear to ear!!! It took 4-5 hours is all. And it was fun! Not complicated!
Oh...I almost forgot all about those tasty little sprinkles on top of it all!!!
This would be seeing the sweet face of dear Stephanie, one day after her return home from Argentina. She served a full time mission there, and returned with honor and a great deal of anticipation for what will happen next. There is nothing better that those bright shining countenance's that develop while serving our Savior!! And there's also nothing like that 'deer in the head-lights' look that accompanies coming back into the 'world' either!!!
Driving home I filled the quiet times with thoughts of things I'd improve in my life; of things I'd like to get done.
*Clark deserves more snail mail from his mother.
*My patio will be done!
*Temple attendance moves to the top of the list-once again.
*My talk will not cause me undo stress!
*Un-cluttering is a high priority.
*Finding joy in an empty nest must be attained.
*I'll put music back on my blog.
*Food storage will become organized and enhanced.
*I'll write more letters.
*I"ll be checking into more college classes
Whew!!! Thats enough reflection for one road trip dont you think!!??

Seeing a pic of Stephanie is fun too! I can't believe she's home already.
I think your list is great! We'd love to come help (or serve lemonade) when you work on your patio! :)
