The God{s} are looking out for me!! How can I be so blessed to be asked and interviewed and accepted to take on this awesome responsibility??!! How fortunate (and completely intimidating!!!)that I can now be found sitting in counsel with this prestigious group of prominant men and women of our community. Only Heaven knows!! (Im just a housewife, mother, former PTA president, and hiking guide for heaven sakes)
But I am thrilled and excited, daunted and nervous and very intrigued to begin. Im determined to learn what it is that I can contribute to this organization!! Its going to be easy to put my heart and soul into this one. Passion for anything to do with Zions is effortless for me. Anything I can do to help improve and sustain this glorious corner of Southern Utah...Im all over it!!!

And by all means shop!!! (all proceeds go to Park improvements) You should know that the books they publish and carry are AMAZING!!!
Im sure you'll hear a LOT more about this new "job" as I continue to learn what my duties and responsibilities will be. Bear with me; as this Board will find themselves having to do as well. Wish me luck and a sound mind and a brave heart.

How neat! I must hear more about this. Did they pluck you off the trail after seeing you there constantly? You will be great, I'm sure. They must have heard what a natural PR person for the park you already are.
By the way, your qualifications are wonderful but listed incorrectly - you are not 'just' a housewife, mother, etc., YOU ARE A HOMEMAKER, A MOTHER, A FORMER PTA PRESIDENT, AND A HIKING GUIDE! That's enough for taking on anything! Way to go.
