Next came one of the many benefits of watching Lynley take courage by the horns!! Lynley had a date!!! Yea!!!!!!!!
When asked how it went-
“ IT was fun! I had a good time!! I would date him again. He paid for dinner AND the movie!! Hes so cute!!”
(because of extreme uneasiness, due to said first date, my camera was not allowed within a 10 foot radius of the pair. Sorry no pictures of the cute ‘couple.’ Hopefully there will be a next time.)

Here is a post-date happy picture!!!
Lo and behold…Justus had a date this weekend too!!! It was girls choice!! He reported that the day time activities were quite fun and highly entertaining. Who in the world came up with a game which requires stuffing large marshmallows into your mouth and then doing their level best to speak. He said the record was 10 ooheey googey marshmallows!!!!!! They also carved ice sculptures-not with chain saws. Ah to be young again…and……no thank you!!!

Bri-dog did NOT have a date!! He had more important thing to do!! Like get a haircut!!!!!!!! Miracles!!!

Plus, he is in the throws of his Eagle Project. His weekend was full of dirt, sweat, and scouts working hard laying down pipe. Go Bri-Dog!!!

Hes so handsome!!!
Grandma Stephenson is getting stronger and stronger. Her hospital room is frequently full of visitors and the aromatic smell of flowers. Shes running out of table space to hold all vaaaaaaaaaases. Her walls are plastered with get well cards which all seem to be helping her along to a speedy recovery. We had to say good-bye to “nurse” Sharon and hello to “nurse” Cathy. As you can tell, Grandma is getting excellent tender loving care!! Thus, remarkable healing is taking place.
(it has occurred to me that I didn’t really post anything about Ethels’ accident. Our dear, dear Ms Clean Freak (not a freak at all ) took a fall while dusting a microscopic dust bunny from off her floor. She broke her pelvis in FOUR places!! (she does every thing well doesn’t she?? OUCH!!! )
May she learn to eat potato chips and French fries and all things salty, with gusto, so that her sodium levels will rise and then can resume drinking water!!! The Doctor says so!!!
Meanwhile, I’ve had the company of a good book and a few lovely zits, and the cheerful anticipation of Anna returning soon. I also relished the warmer temperatures outside, which drew me out to bask in the rays for a moment. 61 degrees folks!!!!!! Down right balmy for January don’t ya think!!??? All this while my Builder spent hours and hours with a pick, dirt, scouts, shovels and PVC pipe!! (remember the Eagle Project??) Now we’ll be nursing some sore muscles for sure!!
Lastly there’s Sunday Dinner. Its an event I look forward to every week. The family gathers for nourishment and time together. We had spaghetti and cake!!!
There were babies, and carrots in the sauce and plenty of cold milk for cake!!
WHAT I KNOW:
Every day is a gift!!!
