First it was a nasty cold.
Now its evolved into what I believe is a sever case of allergies.
Autumn, on occasion, does bring some misery to my sinus's and eyes. Some years pass with not a sign of the irritants in my eyes or nasal passages. This fall looks to be one of those occasions that I am going to feel miserable and grouchy and tired and irritable, and sleepy, and lerpy, and mad!!! I dont sleep well at all, I wake up dreading the morning hike out in the conspiring weeds. I go through a handkerchief an hour. No medications seem to help. I adore the nasal sprays. But Im racked with quilt every night I use them...believing that I have definitely already let myself become addicted to the stuff!!! (I had a boyfriend in college that had a whole windowsill lined up with his empty bottles of nasal sprays. bleck!!!!!!!) I have learned that once your sinus's get accustomed to the miracle spray, the sinus cavity demands a squirt every night, or they just shut down. This could be whats happening already. Except that I cant breath for most of the day either!!!
What I Know:
The first frost will bring blessed release!
Why oh why am I forced to long for the cold of winter!?!?!

You poor thing! That is such a miserable feeling. Our allergies out here have started again with the gorgeous flowers blooming. It's a bummer that the beautiful also brings the sneezes and stuffy noses. Hang in there!
you know, a guy that i used to work with carried one of those bottles of nasal spray in his pocket and he would be squirting it all the time.
is their etiquette for that sort of thing?
i'm sorry that you feel all goobery. if it's any consolation, you don't look all goobery, and you seem to be hanging in there okay, even if it is a ruse.
just remember, if it wasn't some plant here in southern utah, it would be some plant (or animal) somewhere else, and here at least, you have wide open spaces and mountains.
ahhhh, the mountains....
You're not alone Cindy and Mr. Smurf. (So sorry that you have to deal with the allergies of Fall.) I have been listening to KSL Radio and it is so obvious that the commentator of the News has a severe case of plugged up sinuses. I almost have to laugh when I hear him, but now I will just wish him well. I'll do it for you too. Hope that you're feeling better soon even before the frost!
CLARITIN, CLARITIN, CLARITIN! WE LOVE CLARITIN! GOOOOOOO CLARITIN!
(or Zyrtec or Claritin D - what ever dries you up the best, and I HIGHLY recommend trying it if you already haven't...) Hang in there - we are blowing and blotting and sneezing right along with you up here.....
Ugh....it doesn't sound fun what you're going through. I get hit with allergies every now and then, but not that bad-so I don't have any remedies! I wonder what it really is around here that makes us go crazy?!
