Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon

For today, September 7:

Outside my Window:
the sun is shining, not a leaf is rustling, and its slightly cooler. Not a cloud in the blue, blue sky.

I am Thinking:
What a fox my Builder is in his Sunday attire! Early meetings have him up and primped earlier than I.

I am Thankful For:
Sabbath days, my generous cuz who will be do'in dinner tonight!! Sleeping in a little was nice too.

From the Kitchen:
What ever it is...it'll be great, 'cause Im NOT cook'in it!! (I'll make the pumpkin cupcakes!!)

I am Wearing:
cute black pumps, black skirt, black and white blouse, and my turtle bracelet which was given to me by sweet Natalie last year.

I am Creating:
Simple, easy to make skirts. 2 seams, tiny waistband and a small zipper. Easy Peasy!!

I am Going:
to church-to be spiritually fed, to promote the adult activity coming up soon-its a progressive dinner-FUN!! and to grumble about how bitterly cold they keep the building!!!

I am Reading:
BREAKING DAWN, slowly, for some reason? WOMEN AND CHRIST, a compilation of BYU Womens Conference talks.

I am Hoping:
that Natalie can continue to cook that little bun of theirs for at least 4 more weeks-hopefully longer!!! Darn those incompetent cervix's!!

I am Hearing:
"L" playing with his mommy and daddy down the hall; the 8:30 Skywest flight leaving town; Sunday quiet all around

Around the House...
we succumbed to the clutter fiend!! Thats what happens when we neglect it on Saturday.

One of my Favorite things...
happened yesterday. There was a gathering on the front lawn, by the swing. 1st it was Rob and Chelsea and 'L', enjoying the shade and the cooler temps of the afternoon. Then Lynley joined them, stretching her back against a tree. Then the Builder and I arrived home and plopped down in the grass to watch the crazy antics of 'L,' and to visit. Then we called Brian to join us! We talked, we laughed and relaxed and planned some fun activities for the coming week. A sprinkler went on and a diaper came off and there was frolicking in the spouting water!! Ohh....those truly are the favorite moments in life!!

A Few Plans for the Rest of the Week:
Mail a package for Elder Clark; Ward Temple DAY;hike a LOT-we have 50 guests coming in this week-a record!!! Saturday will find us all in Zions National Park!! yea!!!

Here is the 'picture thought' I'm sharing for the week:

yesterday on the lawn was fun and most relaxing, which is totally how one, or everyone rather, should spend their saturdays. i loved it, and should plan that into my future days off.
