My Builder: He got a haircut, and had a birthday. Presidential duties with the young men have been an enjoyable experience thus far. He has been enjoying viewing the Olympics; favorite thing to watch...hummmmm...maybe track and field?!?! Wishes the presidential elections were OVER!!! Somehow he is getting better and better looking the older he gets. Its just NOT fair!!!

Rob and Chelsea and L: Phlebotomist extraordinaire, and gaining new accounts in the water cooler business. Dreaming of a fixer-upper home project. Chelsea parents lovely "L" and is enjoying a growing clientele of beautiful blogs with her designs!! All the while longing for a place of their own.
Joe and Natalie: Practically running Christensens single-handily. Building a beautiful baby boy and a darling 'nest' (nursery) to put him in. It seems that they have been entertaining a lot lately too. They have fun family that comes down from the north. I think they are doing some house hunting as well. Joe cant keep his hair short enough on the top of his head or grow a satisfactory amounts of facial hair. Natalie's little belly bump is SWEET!!!

Cousin Lynley: HATES, HATES, HATES her job. She is on the hunt for something new!! Loves to grocery shop for me--bless her toes. Has done Vegas more than I, this summer! Shes a great co-conspirator in watching Alias with me!! She's also my walking spell checker (when my Builder isnt around.)
Anna: (22)Its official-'orders' from the president have been received-shes not coming home until Jan. 28th 2009!! UGH Shes on a bike and lov'in it. She's getting too thin. (worried mom here) Houston has stolen her heart. And shes never, never, been happier!! Go girl!!
Clark: (19)Seems to have adjusted to the MTC. Has noted that there are more temple endowed people under one roof there than any other place, anywhere!!! Thats why the Spirit is so strong there. He feels it. Spanish is coming along now. He misses junk food. (not his family-tear) He leaves for Chile in a month from today!!Plus, I'll never know another kid who writes home asking for the MORE COMPLICATED form of directions for a camera!!??!! Oh Clarky-only you!!!!
Brian: (17) Feels he made the right decision in going to the new high school this year. Hes making some great changes. Basketball is motivating him. He thinks he "needs" some fancy shoes that will strengthen his jumping skills??? He did some sailing at the lake and LOVED it!! He adores his nephew. And he likes having access to a car at all times. He is enjoying his job at the Marriott-and gaining some good skills. (Plus a significant discount for his parents!! yahooooo!!!)There can also be no exaggerating when I say that hes grown another 2-3 inches in the last month!!

Me: Always enjoying my 3 days (or more) a week of getting coral dust between my toes. Loving being a grandma!!! Loving being the mother of amazing missionaries and all talented children. Grateful to the be the friend and lover and eternal companion of the most amazing man. Being 'party director' for our ward is fun too!!!
What I KNOW:Life is GOOD!!!!! I am GREATLY blessed!!!
