To heck with Pioneer Day!!! (a Utah holiday) We're headed to spectacular Lake Powell today for a few days on a houseboat with the extended family! (Thanks so much to the Ehlerts) We'll get our fill of bros and sis's and nieces and nephews, jet skis and sun and fun, Fun, FUN!!! Im bringing nothing more than a good book, a couple of swimsuits, some sunblock, my allotted meal for the whole crew, and thats it!! Im going to make relaxing a whole new science!! My head hurts from crying, my kitchen needs a break, and I need to learn, once again, a whole new appreciation for my own bed. Sleeping on an air mattress for several nights will guarantee this for me. (I've been having some sleeping issues of late) This looks to be the only real get-away for us this summer-and Im grateful for it!!See ya in a few!!

I remember many years ago some family members going on a trip to Lake Powell...the pictures were amazing.
