You know that saying, that your kids bring you your greatest joy? (and sometimes your greatest heartache)
Its true! Achingly, gleefully, blissfully true!!This is one of those rare days when it becomes blantantly clear how bounteous our blessings are from our Loving, generous Heavenly Father!
Its a day where the joy cannot be contained within my skin. My emotions are tender. All the world can see the jubilation. (even though I was way to sick to enjoy it as much as I could have. I probably shouldnt have even been there...but no way would I miss it either!)

When our children-who have become adults- make decisions of their own accord, and decide to take the leap of faith it takes to come to the Temple, ones heart leaps with near ecstasy and thankfulness. It
does require faith to make this move, from 'childhood' into mature membership of the church. With the Temple comes much responsibility and joy and peace. For young, immature me, I thought it only meant giving up the short shorts, and halter tops and mini skirts. For guys it seemed even less drastic. Shorts are naturally longer, and 'shirtless' is not a big thing around here. For this tradeoff I gratefully discovered that I get so much
more in return. We are 'covered' in peace and sweet assurances that only the Spirit of the Lord can give.

Today was Clarks day to receive this blessing in his life. In so doing, his whole family is also blessed in sharing this day along with him. Gathering in the Temple with your family has to be the most incalculable blessing of all.
WHAT A GLORIOUS, BEAUTIFUL, BLISSFUL DAY!!

Love deepens with each and every one of these sublime life experiences.
Not pictured- Grandma Sharp was with us, and Grandma & Grandpa Stephenson were with us in thought and spirit!!
