Stephenson Family Ties: Welcome LynLey!!!

Lynley is my cousin. She's a Sharp. Thus I dont know her as well as I should or would have liked. It must be a Sharp trait-in the men- to not be social. We never had get togethers when we were growing up. I believe there was ONE 'reunion,' shortly after BB and I were married, and we couldn't attend.
Thank heavens Lynley likes to travel, so she has come out west for visits on a couple of occasions. I loved her from the get-go! I guess I have used some of my persuasive powers to convince her to move west and give it a try!! We are so very happy to have her here!! I hope she finds joy and happiness in this time of flux. I know she misses her family, and her kitty and her friends. But we pray she has found additional family here that she knows loves her too!! I hope we can help her to find everything she's looking for-or at least put her on a path? May Merv and Sue know how much we love her and believe she is one fabulous Sharp!! Thank you so much for sharing her with us!!

1. What do you like most about Mississippi?
The color and the people. Its green and it rains!!
2. What is your favorite food?
Currently....Port O Call cheese burger.
3. What would you like to see happen in your life in the next 30 days?
New job, new camera, better blog, laugh laugh I better get crack'in.

Yellow
5. What is your favorite read?
Hummm.. Jane Eyre is my favorite book
6. Do you have a favorite movie?
Humm.....I guess so...Toy Story....anything by Pixar animation
7. What do you think of St. George?
Its great, and orange, and blue. I do like, the mountains, and its not cold and its dry! I LOVE THE DRY!!
8. How do you feel about being a beautiful redhead?
I dont think Im beautiful....I have pretty hair....I need to do something with it.
9. What advice would you give to your young niece and nephew?
Dont be afraid of anything, have fun, but dont be stupid, I guess you can be a little stupid....
10. How did you like high school?
It was ok I learned a lot. I loved learning. I experienced a lot in high school.
11. How was the college experience?
It was...hummm, very thought provoking, enlightening, and if I had it to do over again, there are things I would change. I would most definitely follow the spirit more, and have less fear, and be more out-going, and less procrastinitive (is that a word?)
12. Do you have a nic name?
Several. College friends call me Lou Lou, and Work friends call me Ling Ling, and my dad calls me tweet.
13. How are you most like your mother?
Oh Crap!!! I do look like her. I love plants like mom but she grows them better. We are both very hard-headed and I have some of her creativity , but not very much. Also we are family orientated.

14. How are you most like your father?
Quick tempered, short fuse, emotional, goal orientated, and adventurous, and I get my red hair from him too.
15. Do you have a speicial sayings or expression?
"Dude" "Oh Crap!"
16. If you could have 3 wishes, what would they be?
To have a job that I love.
To find Mr Right
To travel the world...everywhere that I possibly could...and to come home to my own little yellow house.
17. If you had a million dollars, what you do with it?
I would take some of it and travel and I would probably invest the rest.
18. What frightens you?
The 'unknown.' Being alone, working in a miserable job for the rest of my life,
19. What is the best compliment you have received?
Oh my,,,,hummmm..... I guess it would be that when I left my last job, they didnt want me to go because I guess I was a good example, and a good friend.
20. What irritates you?
Time miss-management, inconsiderate people, people who cant drive, politics, people not keeping their word, and not knowing how to do something.
21. Do you have any hobbies?
Reading, shopping, traveling, eating good food made by other people.
22. What do you consider your weakness?
Short-tempered, Baskin Robins chocolate fudge ice cream, my niece and nephew, and Lachlan, cheap shoes, cheap purses, peer pressure.
23. What are your strengths?
I dont know. (whine) Sort of creative, sort of supportive,Im a good learner, its easy for me to pick up and learn things. I try to be helpful. Im really good at editing things and Im a good listener, ...crap, thats all I got!! Those are kind of good arent they??
24. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Hummm.....probably not in Utah,,, but maybe? Hopefully I've found Mr Right. Have a great job that I like. I have gone hang-gliding and base jumping.
25. If you were an animal, what would you be?
Very large bird-like an eagle, that flies!!! Not like an ostrich or an emu. Maybe like a condor. Thats why I want to go hang gliding.
26. What do you think your friends say about you behind your back?
Oooohh....sometimes they are probably really pissy and frustrated because Im too honest and mean. Then they would sometimes miss me, and are wishing I was there.
27. What is something about you that others would be surprised to learn about you?
That I like to do stupid, life endangering things.
28. What tv show would you never miss watching as a kid?
As a kid? I loved FraggleRock. And Growing Pains
29. If you could have a super-power, what would it be?
Hummmm... hummmm.... ??? Im torn between time travel, or knowing how to help people, without really reading their minds.....???
30. What do you do for fun?
Hang out with friends , go to the movies, shop, read, travel, do stupid life endangering things...laugh, laugh, giggle, giggle
31. Why were you given the name that you have been given?
There are 2 stories- 1. that it came out of a baby name book, and the 2nd is that my mom took part of my grandma middle name and part of my aunts middle name and put them together.

32. Tell me about your family.
I have a mom and dad and 2 older brothers a sister-in-law, and a kitty and a niece and nephew. I feel like I have 3 separate families. I have my family, I have my dads family, and I have my moms family, and they are all separate. There hasnt been a lot of interaction between the families. All of my dads family is west and all of my moms family is southeast.
33. Do you have any pets?
Yes!! One Kitty, named Kitty. (I also killed some gold fish once)
34. What is your favorite holiday? Why?
My favorite holiday is Christmas because my birthday is 2 days before and then there is New Years. Its like a whole month of celebrations. Its all about giving (its supposed to be) And there are fireworks at Christmas...where we come from. There is family and friends. It has its own sound-track-I love the music of the season.
