Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon

Unfortunately this is NOT an April Fools Joke

We've had 14 wonderful years. It's a sad night here in our home. We have lost a dear companion. His ole heart just gave out. We saw the writing on the wall and knew the end was near. Our dear Baxter will be sorely missed.

Builder Bob once compared me to this sweet old beast. He at one time wished that I too could meet him at the front door with my tail wagging and with excitement and pleasure in my countenance. I couldn't blame him at the time-I was harrowed down with raising kids. Bless this dog-for bringing such joy to all of our lives.
You had a long, good life that we took such pleasure in sharing with you!! Thank you - you wise old soul!!

Oh I'm very sad! He lived a long life with such a great family taking care of him. The backyard won't be the same without him there.

James and I are reading this and feeling very sad. What a good dog he was and a great companion for kids and adults alike. I KNOW our pets will be with us in the next life! The Stephenson house and yard won't be the same without him.

I'm so sorry. Baxter was a great one. He lived a good life, that's for sure. He'll be missed by us all.

Farewell Baxter. I said my "goodbyes" to him before leaving Easter Sunday. I just didn't think I would see him again in this life. Baxter was a real DOG - he gave meaning in every good sense to the word. We'll miss him for sure.

Ah, Stephensons...we are mourning with you. I'm glad he got to know Lachlan for a while. He'll be running in heaven today! Just goes to show...Dogs are family, too.
(PS I love that family picture you posted with him. Good dog!)
