I'm a people watcher- who's now attempting to be a little introspective. But will more than likly come off just sounding silly.
I was just wondering how many of we Mormons go to church each Sunday and know almost exactly which pew we'll be expecting to rest our laurels on?
And what does this say about a certain family that you may know and love, when they realize that when they show up at church they have no idea where they may plant their bottoms for the meeting. (way to many 'theys')
Very interesting, don't ya think?!

Very interesting.
We all know and love our ward members to whom it would rock their world if they didnt get 'their' seat each Sabbath day! Whats that about?! What would happen if you were the one to bump an old widow from her designated spot on the back row? Oh my....
But even more confusing- what about the afore-mentioned family-who most assuredly is in the minority in the grand scheme of things, who has no idea what vantage point they'll have for the meeting? (Could it have anything to do with getting to church on time?)
Have I stumbled on another parable of life?
Is it a similitude for displacement or wandering souls?
Remember that old tree without deep roots. (I have deep roots!!)
Could it have something to do with disorganization?
Who's in charge of the seating chart?
Could it not mean a thing!??
Maybe I should leave the introspection to those more qualified.
Just understand that if you loose me in church, you wont know where to find me the next time!
I'll just keep watching.

Since we're rather new in our ward, I still wonder who we're displacing each Sunday. ;)
Me too! We are always late, so we probably end up sitting in someone spot that are sick that day! Everyone in our ward is either related somehow or lived their all their life! It seems like they all have the same last name!
That's one thing that's kinda nice about our ward, it changes so much that people don't really have a chance to claim a pew. Well, alright, I guess there is a little continuity in seating, but no one seems to mind if it gets shaken up a bit. I love our ward!
