Maybe insanity has set in? Just when its become absolutely gorgeous down here-its been 70 degrees!! And I've been sport'in shorts,flip-flops and a t-shirt for the last 2 days!! Now I'm headed where the nasty white stuff is piled up everywhere, and I have to pack a winter coat and boots! hogwash!!
Anyway, there are few things that could tempt me to make this journey at this time of year. And to add insult to injury, Im torn between the activities up north and the important activity right here at home! Mayci will be baptized this Saturday! I hate the idea of missing this great event! But here is how I justify it all. There are fewer occasions when my brother will have a son-who's a senior this year- who will be playing first string, in the State Championship basketball tournament!! It also further entices me to go knowing that my bro is going to make time to enjoy the event. Work will become second fiddle this weekend!! So yes, Im headed up to cheer madly for my nephew, Josh!! To scream with abandon along with my bro and his good wife Debbie. It'll be great to do some visiting and catching up with them and to relax and maybe even sleep in a little.
Im going to do my best to avoid the dreaded white stuff. And look forward to visiting with BF Judy and fun family in Salt Lake.
