Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon

Families Rock!

My brother called last night.
He was checking in to see how Brian was fairing. (broken wing problems)

My brother is another one of my heroes.

He’s so smart, but smart with a heart.
He’s an amazing, wise father.
He delights in all things simple-if he can.

Joe took great pleasure in sharing with me the delights of raising a precocious 2 yr old.
Last evening, Amber-said 2 yr old- uttered her first prayer for all to hear. (A Family Night to remember)
Joe recounted each precious phrase and was so touched by her purity of thought and her tenderness towards others.
(The fruit doesn’t fall far from THAT tree!)
It caused me to reflect once again on both the challenge and blessing it has been for Joe and Debbie (mostly Debbie!!) to have a ‘baby’ after NOT having one for so long.
The two of them have learned to truly treasure each experience, to savor each moment along the way.
It’s also fun to note that my grandson and their young daughter can grow up being the best of buds, the closest of cousins, 2 peas in a pod. (IF we do our part of being sure they get together often enough to become acquainted)
My darling grandson and my sweet niece-growing up together- time marches on!!!
