Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon

TO BE OR NOT TO BE!

We've had an univited guest in our backyard for weeks now! Mostly hes been a sourse of entertainment for Baxter and myself as I watch out the back windows. But, as he has become much bolder-so has the mess, the poopy, ugly mess.

In the fall he adopted the pomegrante bush as his home. Then when the leaves fell from the tree, he moved to a higher location in the Mulberry tree. Then he discovered the bird-feeders in the back yard! That was the beginning of the end!

We arent quite sure where he came from, but we know we dont want the likes of him hanging around anymore! The alternative to being "gunned down" by my boys and their friends- was to nab him and relocate him down by the river.

There he will find plenty of tasty morsels to eat and trees to roost in at night. He wont be dead, or terrorised by paint balls and ...he wont be pooping all over my patio!! I think its a win-win situation!

BYE BYE CHICKEN!!!
