is for UNWIND.
How do I unwind?
-I'll turn up the heat.I've even been caught sitting in my car out in the driveway, enjoying the benefits of the greenhouse effect!
-Read a good book
-Stoke the hot tub
-Watch a movie
-Call a friend
-Go on a hike
-Sit in the sun-the swing is the best spot
-Write to Anna
-Find someone to laugh with-usually its my kids or hubby
-Howl at the moon
-Take a nap-in that pool of sunlight
-Surf the net
-Set my feet in Bobs lap-he will usually willingly rub them
-Eat a Zinger or Oreos with cold milk
-Get my hair done-ahh, its nice to have someone else fuss with it
-A cup of herbal tea soothes the soul
-A drive in the car with nowhere to go, and a Pepsi in the cupholder
-Float the Virgin River in a tube-IF its hot outside
-Listen to the sound of water falling-ie. waterfalls, rain, and, fountains -I have 2 in the backyard and one out front.
-Candle light-good for aroma and atmosphere
-A crackling fire in a fireplace
-Bio-feedback works wonders-a learned 'gift' from my TMJ days
-The hum of talk radio late at night
-Good music- Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Enya, Classical
-A good meal- Texas Roadhouse is a good start in this town
-Look at old scrapbooks-oh what a great life Bob and I have had. Thank you God for your gentleness with me.
-My mattress does the job too
I am truly blessed. It's easy for me to unwind, because I dont get wound up too tight very often. Thank Heavens!!

cindy i love reading your blog! i really learn so much about you each post! keep up it up!
Great list! I need to try some of those myself, these holidays are really tensing me up! I feel like a tightly wound rubber band. I didn't take a nap in a pool of sunlight today though! :)
Ok, I took your challenge and created an account.
I have enjoyed reading your blogs. Your writing is wonderful - I only wish I had the time to do the same. I probably do the same amount of writing in a day, however, few people would care to read mine. For example.
"z scores is the basic standard score and states how far any given score is from the mean in terms of standard deviation units. A score exactly on the mean corresponds to a z score of 0. If the score is 1 standard deviation above the mean the z score would be +1.00, 1 standard deviation below the mean the z score would be -1.00. In referencing the chart. The individual who scored 93 has a z score of +1.00 based on the standard deviation of 5, and the student with the 83 has a z score of – 1.00. Herein lies a problem with z scores, they can sometimes indicate negative numbers which are hard to work with. In that case, a z score can be transformed into T scores."
see what I mean. . .zzzzzzzz!
So keep writing! it's fun to read!
Ann! (my sweet cousin) I am so sorry for you!! Or sorry for me, because I have NO idea what you just wrote about. It gives me a headache. Enjoy your Christmas break- I think you need it most of all!!!
