I've had this cute little green turtle (red ear slider) for several months now. I quess she's going to thrive in 'spite' of me. :)
I thought it'd be fun to have a 'suggestion box,' and take ideas for fun names for the little gal.
Things you need to know about her:
*She lives in a casserole dish on the counter, by the sink. (I realize she needs an up-grade,and soon)
*She was born without a tail.
* In the summer she lives in the pond out in the backyard.
*She's growing SLOWLY (thus the up-grade)
*She has the will to LIVE!!

Corning, or Corelle (a nod to the little cuties abode)
Wag, or Waggles - (I'm sure if she had a tail she would!)
Yertle - from Dr. Seuss's Book:

Ok Jude! what the heck- do you have Seuss memorized!? You cant be that brain damaged if you can recite Dr Seuss!! Im impressed. And, Im having fun already, reading everyones suggestions so far!! Im surrounded by creative people!! You all make me laugh out loud! Chels too!!

Don't have Yertle the Turtle memorized - I have to admit that I was looking for a cute name for the turtle and came across a page with the selection from Dr. Seuss on it. I thought it was a cute idea for your turtle that sits on a rock so I cut and pasted that selection.
I WISH I had that memorized! (Now - ask me to recite "The Owl and the Pussycat" and I CAN!!! - well, maybe not right now - but USUALLY I can!)
It's 'Fred' for sure. You look in his face, especially from a profile shot, and Fred or Fredette fits. 'Muttles also works, or Hertzog, and 'Oprah' seems to fit most of the time, when you look at the sharp teeth, long claws, and the red stripes on the side of her head. Well, anyway...
My love, you are way too funny! Oprah should send out an APB on you. Someone who didn't know you so well would think you didn't "like" Oprah!! What has she ever done to you!?
I suggest the name be: "Soup"
I just read Bob and Joe's suggestions for names - and I'm still doubled over at Joe's. It's GOT to be SOUP!!!
