Slots hike on Wednesday!! It was a beauty of a hike, for both body and soul!!
And then...
get this- as I was driving home, after "work," what did I spy up in a Cottonwood tree by the side of the road...but the most majestic Bald Eagle watching the traffic going by!!! He could have been counting cars for all it looked like to me. He was that close. And Im not describing a remote stretch of roadway; Im talking about a road right down town by the river!!! It was amazing!!! He was so beautiful and LARGE!!! (there was no room at the side of the road to pull over and take his picture!!! dang!!!)
Its not everyday that you see a Bald Eagle...especially up close and personal. I definitely do live in the most marvelous part of the world!! There are treasures and wonders at every turn!!
