I read a lot of John Steinbeck back then.
Never saw the movie, until last night.
Never appreciated James Dean either...and the jury is still out. Dean is great eye candy to be sure, but, if the critics are correct in saying that the role of Cal in this movie is his best acting, then maybe Im not impressed much.
Steinbeck is brilliant!
James Dean- smoldering.
Movie a b- over all.
What I know for sure:
Parenting = unconditional love-period!
and
I AM my brothers keeper!!!
