What about the missionaries? you ask. An excellent case
in point; in ancient as in modern times, the missionaries
of the church have impressed the world before everything
by their notorious lack of any special training or talent.
To survive in such hands, the gospel must be its own
advocate, and it is--it can safely be trusted to delivery
by the weak and unpreposessing, only when men are entirely
without pretense, even when that means being without
education or polish, can the Holy Ghost speak for himself.
