Stephenson Family Ties The Barn Burnt Down
And Now I See The Moon
Your culture has become sophisticated,
like a computer, or a drug that you take
for a headache. You can use it, but you
cannot explain how it works. Certainly
not to girls who stack up their firewood
against the side of the house.

Not only do I have the best 'job' in the world. I also happen to work for the best people in the world as well! I havent written much about these two passionate, energetic, adorable, hardworking people whom I call 'boss.' My neglect in doing so has nothing to do with lack of respect or gratitude. I am so very blessed to have such people in my life. These two are young enough to be my own kids...so its been a blast and a privilege to work for them this last yr and a half or so as their business started in its infancy. Here we have a young couple that is as passionate and hard working as they come, about helping people to obtain good health and physical fitness through exercise and good nutrition! (there really is no other way to do it folks!)
And so...
this week I received an early Christmas gift from them...(for Im sure they were repulsed at watching my 10 yr old camelback deteriorate in front of their eyes while hiking with me each day.)

Who would have guessed that one day, when I was old, that something with a lot of zippers and a bladder and made of red canvas, would bring me such happiness!!!? 10 years ago I would of hurrumphuffed at the thought!!!

And NOW...after having hiked with my swanky new Osprey pack a couple of times, Im even more enamored with my Christmas gift!!! Its has so many bells and whistles that I see it might be a while before I FULLY appreciate what it can do. And even though it cant drag me up a hillside, I can see already that its going to make that hike up much more pleasant!!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, John and Leanne for your generous gift!!

if you too are interested in this swanky pack go here for more info. Go Osprey!!
